Having a new baby is both exciting and unpredictable. Moms feel many emotions after bringing home their bundle of joy. Some feelings consist of happiness, joy, and relief but also overwhelmed, frustrated and confused. We want to assist moms navigate the many ups and downs of motherhood. We want mothers to have a safe space to express true emotions without feeling guilt or shame.
After having a baby some mothers struggle with postpartum depression and anxiety. These thoughts and feelings can lead to lack of self-confidence, doubting abilities to parent, stress on other relationships and lack of motivation to do daily tasks. We assist moms and families with the tools to help manage and cope with the stresses of recent childbirth.
Dads can also struggle with the transition of a new baby. Fatherhood can lead to anxiety, pressure, and stress. We help dads to not only support mom in the transition but also understand how vital their role is and how to cope as well. Dads learn how to navigate their emotions in a safe and confident way and gain additional support.
