Hi, I am Adrienne Parker, and I am very enthusiastic about comprehending the needs, feelings, problems and views of others. I strive to promote a safe and non-judgmental space to the clients that I serve. I build trust, and allow freedom of expression without harm, as I help with navigating healing journeys.
About Me:
Beyond therapy, I enjoy playing tennis, different genres of music, walking with nature, and good food. Working and meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds has enhanced my understanding of individuals and shed a light on the different perspectives of others, and to be empathic when necessary.
My Approach:
My therapeutic approach embodies Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person- Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I have worked with adults, couples, teenagers, and families. I assess the needs of the client and proceed with the focus of working together with them, depending on their individual needs and preferences
Let's begin:
The thought of therapy can be intimidating, and the fear can keep you from becoming the best version of yourself. The stigmas and myths of mental health alone can and often will suppress one's desire to seek help. However, therapy could be just the remedy one needs to give them back hope and purpose, and to restore healing. It is a step to prioritizing oneself, improving relationships, and increasing holistic well-being.
